Yes. After normal use simply soak the Roasteasy in a bowl of hot soapy water, shake to remove any loose food particles then place in the top rack of your dishwasher. To ensure easy cleaning we recommend pre-oiling the Roasteasy with olive oil or non-stick cooking spray before roasting.

Yes, the Roasteasy works very well in all types of BBQs. You will get discolouration of the stainless steel if it comes in contact with direct flame, but this will disappear after a number of washes.

For indirect slow cooking on a lidded BBQ, place the meat on rack over a roasting dish with approximately 1 cm of water in the bottom and cover with a pre-oiled Roasteasy. Use one or two burners furthest away from the meat to cook long and slow. You can sear the meat on a hot plate before and after cooking if you require further browning.

No, the Roasteasy will not alter cooking times or temperatures and will help prevent burning when browning under a grill.

For cheaper cuts of meat not so suitable for roasting, use baking paper under the Roasteasy for an airtight seal and cook long and slow. Remove the paper but leave the Roasteasy in place for browning at higher temperatures in the 5 –10 minutes.
