
BBQ Beef Sirloin
Ingredients
Sirloin roast
1 cup red wine
1 tsp chopped fresh rosemary
1 tbsp good quality cooking oil
Salt + pepper
Method
Let the beef come to room temperature.
Rub beef with oil and season generously with salt and pepper and fresh rosemary.
Heat hot plate on BBQ to a minimum of 250°C.
Beginning with fat side down, sear all over on the BBQ hot plate.
Place beef on rack over a roasting dish containing the red wine.
Pre-oil Roasteasy by placing in a bowl with a generous dash of good quality cooking oil and rub around until fully covered.
Turn inside BBQ burners off and outside burners on low.
Place Roasteasy over beef and cook on indirect heat until desired internal temperature is reached.
Allow to rest for 10 mins while still covered with Roasteasy.
